Experience the Living Landscape
of Orchard Canyon

Long before Orchard Canyon became a beloved destination, this remarkable property was shaped by the land itself.
Nestled in the heart of Oak Creek Canyon - just eight scenic miles north of Sedona - our ten-acre property is surrounded by towering canyon walls, mature forests, a century-old working orchard, organic gardens, open meadows, and the year-round waters of Oak Creek.
Originally established as Todd's Lodge in 1929 and cherished for decades as Garland's Oak Creek Lodge, Orchard Canyon continues a nearly century-long tradition of welcoming guests to one of Arizona's most extraordinary landscapes.
Today, Orchard Canyon remains unlike anywhere else in Sedona.
This isn't simply a place to stay.
It's a place to slow down, reconnect, and experience the canyon the way it has always been meant to be experienced.
A Place Designed by Nature
Many Sedona resorts offer views of nature.
Orchard Canyon places you within it.
Historic cabins are thoughtfully nestled beneath towering sycamores, cottonwoods, and pines. Where birdsong replaces traffic, the sound of Oak Creek accompanies your mornings, and every path leads somewhere worth exploring.
Whether you're seeking a romantic getaway, a family vacation, reunion, company training, a wellness retreat, or simply a quiet escape from everyday life, Orchard Canyon invites you to experience nature rather than simply observe it.
Oak Creek Flows Through the Heart of the Property
One of Orchard Canyon's greatest treasures is something very few Sedona properties can offer - private access to Oak Creek directly from the grounds.
Guests can simply leave their cabin and wander down shaded pathways to discover two peaceful creek access points reserved exclusively for Orchard Canyon guests.
Here you'll find:
- Cool creek swimming during the warmer months
- Excellent fishing in one of Arizona's most beautiful canyon settings
- Quiet places for reading, meditation, and relaxation
- Gentle places to wade, explore, and reconnect with nature
- Wildlife including blue herons, deer, hummingbirds, hawks, native birds and more
Unlike public access areas throughout Oak Creek Canyon, there are no crowded parking lots, busy picnic areas, or long walks carrying equipment.
The creek simply becomes part of your stay.
More Than Beautiful Grounds
Every season brings something different to life across the property.
Wander through the century-old apple orchard.
Watch vegetables harvested from the gardens that supply our kitchen.
Enjoy lawn games beneath towering trees.
Sip coffee beside the creek.
Listen to leaves rustle overhead while relaxing in a hammock.
As daylight fades, gather around the outdoor firepit before looking up to discover brilliant dark skies filled with stars.
Nothing here feels programmed.
The land naturally creates the experience.
A Place for Every Kind of Stay
Couples discover quiet corners, Creekside walks, and peaceful cabins designed for reconnection.
Families find room to roam, fish, swim, explore, and create lasting traditions together.
Friends gather around fireplaces, outdoor firepits, chef-prepared meals, and long conversations that continue well into the evening.
Retreat groups discover a setting where learning, reflection, creativity, and wellness unfold naturally.
The property adapts to every guest because it has never been designed around activities.
It has always been designed around the experience of the canyon itself.
